Toothbrushes live where the air is warm and damp, next to a toilet that is flushed several times a day. This holds five of them behind a cover and runs a UV-C lamp over them between uses.

How it works
You press the button once. The display counts down from 360 seconds, the lamp runs, and it switches itself off at zero. A magnetic switch cuts the lamp the moment the cover is opened, so the light never reaches your eyes or skin.

The manufacturer states the cycle removes 99.9% of common bacteria from the bristles. That is their figure, measured in their lab — we have not tested it ourselves and we would rather say so than repeat it as our own.
Fitting it
It sticks to the wall with the 3M pad in the box. No drill, no screws, no holes in the tile. The whole unit lifts off the wall bracket when you need to charge it.
The cover slides up out of the way when you want a brush, and the lamp will not run while it is open.
Power
A 2000 mAh battery inside, charged over USB-C with the cable supplied. On a full charge it runs about 120 cycles, so for a household of two brushing twice a day that is roughly a month between charges.
It charges over USB-C, off a charger or a power bank. The unit lifts off its wall bracket to do it.
