A recipe that says 120 g of flour does not care that your spoon holds a tablespoon. This one weighs what it scoops, to a tenth of a gram, so you stop guessing and stop dirtying a mixing bowl to measure out 8 g of yeast.

Good to know
The handle holds the electronics, so it does not go in the dishwasher and it does not go under the tap — wash the scoop, wipe the handle. For anything heavier than 500 g you still want a proper kitchen scale; this is for the small amounts, the ones a normal scale reads as zero.
