How it works
A small sensor unit clips to the brace and reads the angle of your back. You wear it, sit up the way you want to sit, and press the button once to calibrate: that position becomes your zero. From then on it vibrates gently whenever you drop below the angle you chose, anywhere from 5 to 50 degrees. The display shows the current reading and counts how many times it has nudged you, which turns out to be the useful number — it tells you whether the day was better than yesterday.
Two lines: the angle you are at now, and how many times it has buzzed today. The supplier’s photos show those two little labels in English on one unit and in Chinese on another, so we cannot promise which you will get.
How to actually use it
Start with twenty or thirty minutes a day, not eight hours. The point is to make you notice a habit, and habits move in small steps. Most people wear it for a stretch of desk work and take it off afterwards. It is silent — the reminder is a vibration, not a sound, so nobody around you knows it went off.
You sit the way you want to sit and press the button once. That position becomes the zero it measures against.

What it will not do
It will not hold you upright. It is a reminder, not a support brace and not a medical device, and it does not treat any condition — the straightening is done by you, which is the whole idea, because a brace that holds you up does the work your muscles should be doing. It will not read anything useful over a thick coat or a heavy jumper: it wants to sit against a shirt or close to it. And the straps adjust over a wide range but they are not infinite, so check the measurements in the photos before ordering rather than after.
