What it does
The textured side catches loose undercoat as you stroke the animal, so the fur comes off in your hand instead of onto the furniture. The smooth grey side works dry on fabric — run it over a cushion or a car seat and the hair gathers into a line you can lift off in one piece.
Two faces, one mitt: the black mesh side lifts the fur, the grey side wipes what is left. You wear it on one hand and keep the other free.
What it is
Breathable mesh over a padded backing, with an elastic strap across the palm. No pins, no blades, no batteries. It fits either hand and most hand sizes, and it rinses clean under a tap.

Worth knowing
It works best on short and medium coats, and on the shedding phase of a long coat. On a heavily matted long-haired dog you will still want a proper comb first — this takes off what is already loose, it does not cut through knots.
