Grease on the hob, grout gone grey, the inside of the oven door. Scrubbing mostly moves it around. Steam at 221°F lifts it off, using nothing but water — no sprays, no gloves, nothing left behind on a surface you cook on.

The dial sets the steam, the handle has a non-slip grip, and the brushes go on the end of the lance. Gloves are sensible: the steam comes out hot.
