What it is, and what it is not
The shelves are fabric stretched on a frame, not steel plate. That is what makes it light, cheap to ship and easy to take apart — and it also means a heavy pair of work boots will dip the shelf a little. For trainers, flats, sandals and everyday shoes it is exactly right. For a rack that holds a dozen pairs of boots without flexing, buy steel and pay four times as much.
